  3. Just found your blog, so have gone back through and commented on all your posts so far.
I look forward to hearing about how your time in Amoti changes you. I'd love to hear about your thoughts and feelings. Your triumps and failures. Your tears as well as your laughter.
Keep up the blogging, I'll be reading from now on.

  5. Hello,
I've been enjoying your news, though had to get Ben to help me find the thing to click so I could 'comment'.
(I'm banking on there being NO technology in heaven!!!)
You sound as if you are having a brilliant time, and adapting to all the new food, lifestyle and challenges really well.
What is the impact of HIV on life there? is it just everywhere? There is an item on the BBC news today about scientists using gene therapy in the fight against HIV, another step in the right direction.
Do you get to hear the sound of the insects at night...mimicked by the Vuvuzela ?
    and how hot IS IT??

  6. Hi Catherine
Amaoti sounds fascinating. Well done on your blog and also to the whole team on adjusting to a completely different environment. Bet the kids really enjoy having you all there too. It all sounds a tad different to work routines at Hadrian’s Park!  Hmmm – offcuts of beef something or other,,, how intestine! - if it’s anything like sheep lung, it tastes better with spices & flavourings though, or not ? SO what does go in the cooking pot with the ? Herbs? Chilli? AND what were those goats thinking while you danced the HC? (Like – Is this what they always do before they eat? Or Wonder when we’re on the menu?) .
Hope your shower is fixed soon – and that you took your Creche helmet with you – A useful hat in a tight spot with boisterous bairns of any age! How many kids do you look after each day? Keep trusting in Him and He will make your paths straight. Thinking of you, God bless and love from the Midds (Chris, Helen, Rachie – and Michael).
